  • Research and clinical evidence have proven the anti-atherosclerotic property of this plant.
  • It is beneficial in the treatment of hypercholesterolemia dyslipidemia including hypertriglyceridemia.
  • The saponin glycosides might be responsible for the inotropic effect of Terminalia arjuna, while the flavonoids and OPCs provide free radical antioxidant activity and vascular strengthening.
